Applications
Dams & Ponds
Membrane-faced fill dams, irrigation ponds and flood control structures.

Sealing a dam body or pond base is the work of a system, not a single material: the barrier layer, the geotextile that protects it from puncture, and the drainage layer beneath that relieves water all work together. In large structures exposed to settlement and differential movement, a flexible membrane (PVC) or a self-healing clay barrier (GCL) keeps the seal intact even through the micro-cracks that develop over time.
